Hosted by Bracknell Forest Council - UK Council of the Year 2018
Innovation Club Special Meeting on 13th + 14th March at Bracknell Forest Council.
Your chance to get the inside story on possibly the largest town centre redevelopment we will see this century. With special guest Hugo Fenwick, Store Development Director, Fenwick of Bond Street.
This special Club meeting is a free event for invited guests, including dinner and overnight accommodation at The Grange Bracknell Hotel.
During the morning of 14 March officers from Bracknell Forest who have been involved in their transformation project will be discussing their ongoing journey which has included the closure of several office buildings, resulting in all staff working smartly from Time Square. After lunch there will be a visit to the Cemetery and Crematorium where a second chapel has been built recently, to accommodate the demand for this service locally.
The redevelopment of Bracknell town centre, now known as The Lexicon, showcases how the Council worked in partnership with investors to deliver a project which opened in 2017 and was honoured to receive a visit from Her Majesty The Queen earlier this year.
The event, tours and meals are free, along with accommodation for one delegate.
