iESE Ltd has announced a strategic partnership with ZapCarbon Ltd to provide enhanced solutions to our members in the social housing sector. The two organisations will work together to extend ZapCarbon’s service offerings to its members in Housing, with the aim of tackling fuel poverty, improving home energy efficiency and enabling better home health.
ZapCarbon has an established track record of working with local authorities and housing associations to improve conditions in their tenanted properties through its HealthyHomes programme which ensures compliance with Awaab’s Law. The programme includes structured home assessments, mould cleaning and protection, resident engagement and data-driven tracking via smart sensors for alerting and preventing recurrence of life-endangering mould. It has already improved living conditions for thousands of residents across the UK, enabling them to take control of their home health while driving down repairs costs for landlords.
Zypho from ZapCarbon gives landlords and homeowners an easy way to save energy and tackle fuel poverty through shower heat recovery. Energy recovery rates of more than 80% are achievable through the Zypho range of patented, easy-to-install products that work for both retrofit and new build properties of all kinds.
ZapCarbon is the Gold sponsor of the iESE Public Sector Transformation Awards 2025, which will take place on the 5th March 2025.
Dr Andrew Larner, Chief Executive of iESE Ltd commented:
“There is a real need to improve the environmental credentials of our housing, and with Awaab’s law, a quicker and more effective response to damp and mould.
